Hi, this is Simon Johns here, and welcome to my personal site! So as you're probably aware by now... I'm Simon, and I am as regular a guy as you would ever meet, just with a huge passion to make the best possible life for me and those around me. I have a beautiful partner, Jasmine, and we live together in the South of England in Bournemouth, Dorset. This is great for when we want out of the house as we are right by the beach!

There are lots of hobbies we enjoy. Yep, I'm a big time car freak! I'm into all sorts of cars from classic cars through to super cars.

Jas likes to shop, in particular she likes her shoes and bags – I have certainly had my experience when it comes to being dragged around shops! We're also into health and fitness, going out for nice dinners and going to the theatres in London

We also love taking local weekend vacations and getaways. These include drives up to the coast, spending a weekend in a little bed and breakfast or just getting out of town for the day to enjoy a change of scenery and some fresh air. We enjoy walking the nature trails, and playing golf... it’s great exercise, and a lot of fun.

Traveling is one of the many "perks" of owning an International home-based business, and having both the financial freedom and the time freedom to just get up a go when we want feels great. It is one of my long term aims to have ‘a friend in every city! And with this type of business that may just be possible!

Thanks to Affiliate Marketing I now wake up excited every day to check how many sales I've made overnight and only wish I'd figured it all out sooner.

When I First Discovered Affiliate Marketing, I Pretty Much Failed For The First 2 Years

Like I said, this is the cold hard truth that not many people will tell you.

My first affiliate marketing venture was a business opportunity that cost me $2995 to join and I never made a single cent back promoting it!

But that was a long time ago. In fact that was back in 2008! Yes that’s how long I have been in the affiliate marketing game for!

Here's a picture of me below back in 2008 trying to figure out this whole affiliate marketing thing whilst working from my bed as I didn't even have the space for a desk...

But I wasn’t going to give up. 

I knew that there were people out there making a lot of money on the internet through affiliate marketing so I knew that if I could just crack the code I could be one of them. 

So naturally I started buying more courses and training on anything I could find to do with affiliate marketing, internet marketing, MLM, Search Engine Optimisation and everything in between.

By April 2010 I had spent Over $12,000

So It was April 2010, I was about to be 25, and I made a decision...

I decided to quit my job, and finally make this whole internet marketing thing work!

Now I know what you're thinking...

Why quit your job if you're not making any money internet marketing yet?

Well, in my mind I decided that it was a good idea to put myself in the position where I HAD NO CHOICE, AND HAD TO MAKE IT WORK without any excuses.

So I quit my job...

Thankfully It Paid Off 

I was now a full time Internet Marketer even though I still hadn't made a cent online!

So the very first thing I did was look over all of the training that I'd purchased over the last year and a half and try and find something that I was sure would work for me.

One of the courses was all about affiliate marketing.

The course was all about promoting affiliate products on the Yahoo Advertising platform (now Bing) using a method called "Direct Linking".

So I went through the course and as instructed I chose three products to promote as an affiliate.

The first product was a membership site for businesses that allowed them to do background checks on their employees.

The second was a weight loss product.

The third was a personal development product.

I found some pretty decent keywords, set up three campaigns on Yahoo and let them run.

The next evening I went to my affiliate account fully expecting to see zero dollars made, but to my surprise I'd made $182.22.

I mean it certainly didn't get me to the point of being able to really live the life I so much desired. 

But it did give me the fortunate opportunity to continue working from home and earn enough to pay my bills and most importantly it gave me the time to research my next venture!

By the way this is the short version of my story...

I had many more trials and errors, plenty of money spent on many more successes but just as many failures. 

But I continued my search, continued learning from different sources and do you know what one of the biggest lessons I've learnt was... 

I seriously couldn't believe it. I had to refresh the page in case their was some kind of mistake.

I refreshed the page and the numbers were still there.

After a year and a half I had finally found some success, and it wasn't just one sale it was four.

Over the next few weeks I felt like I was living the internet dream. 

I had finally built a business that would work for me 24/7 and even make money for me when I slept.

Now this was just the beginning...

But To My Surprise I'd Made $182.22

NEVER GIVE UP!

I always knew I wanted to make BIG MONEY online from the comfort of my home so I started trying to seek out people who had already had the success that I wanted. 

I knew that there were many great programs out there, but I also knew that there are a lot of scams and crooks too.

After going through through tons of information, hundreds of hours of videos and other courses. I decided that the best course of action was to find a mentor to guide me through this turbulent world of affiliate marketing and really shortcut my road to MASSIVE success. 

Eventually I found a multi-seven figure affiliate marketer called "John" who was hosting a webinar. 

I watched the webinar and it was like all the pieces fell into place.

He talked about things I'd never heard before. 

One of the biggest revelations was something called "Profit Cycles".

So What is Affiliate Marketing Anyway?

Affiliate marketing is by far one of the easiest and most powerful ways to make money online without creating your own product or service. You don’t have to deal with inventory, customer service, or shipping. You find a product, promote it, and get paid when someone buys through your unique link.

• 3. Scalable Like Crazy: Once you know what works, scale it. More traffic, more clicks, more sales. Just keep pushing. The beauty of affiliate marketing is you can scale without the headache of managing a bunch of employees or dealing with supply chain issues. It’s a growth machine if you’ve got the right strategy.

• 2. Unpredictable Income: Forget about a steady paycheck. Your earnings depend on your traffic, conversions, and how well you can sell. Some months you might crush it, and others… you might make peanuts. This isn’t a salary gig—it’s feast or famine.
• 3. Tough Competition (You’re Not the Only One): The market is saturated, and the big players have big budgets. If you’re not grinding out great content, building traffic, or using paid ads to crush the game, you’ll get buried. You’ll have to outwork and outsmart everyone else to stand out.
